4 Women In Business

Have you ever questioned your purpose & why you are still here? What opportunities lie ahead? Are your best days behind you? You are continually evolving into the person you are destined to become. The process of Becoming is ongoing, and as women, we have the remarkable ability to bloom repeatedly throughout our lives.

4 Women In Pursuit Business

4 WIP in Business is a vibrant community dedicated to helping women identify opportunities they may not have considered yet. Many women in my demographic are retiring and finding themselves with time on their hands, but like me, are unsure of what to do next. However, before retirement, divorce, or becoming an empty nester, you accumulated valuable experience, knowledge, and skills. Personally,

I never anticipated retirement; it unfolded differently than I expected.

My Journey

Before I began working for a Fortune 500 company in 1997, I pursued a degree in Medical Administration. Prior to that, I worked in banking right after high school. My first official job was at a bank, followed by several years in finance where I received training in various areas. Ironically, I struggled with managing my own finances. Over the years, I had to overcome a poverty mindset – a topic I will explore further in another issue of the magazine, focusing on reversing the curse of poverty.

By 2005, I was earning nearly $130,000+/year, but I still lacked the knowledge to budget effectively, pay bills correctly, and save. Witnessing my coworkers face challenges like car repossessions and struggles to keep a roof over their heads or provide for essentials like food, gas, and childcare motivated me to educate myself. I began reading books, listening to tapes, and following financial experts to improve my understanding.

Embracing New Beginnings

The purpose of sharing my story is to highlight that even though we may be older and retired, the skills we’ve acquired remain valuable. Your financial acumen is a tremendous asset. Retirement doesn’t mark the end of your journey; instead, it’s an opportunity to start anew.

One of my gifts is the ability to launch businesses. As a serial entrepreneur, I can conceptualize a business and provide you with all the necessary information to get it started.

I am passionate about helping women embark on their next chapter, whether that means starting a business or exploring new opportunities. You still have worth, and this community is an excellent place to begin a new adventure.
